Wedding Terms & Conditions

  • Tentative bookings will be held for a maximum of 1 month.
  • A non refundable deposit of $500.00 is required once booking is confirmed. There will be a transfer fee of $200 should the Client Postpone the Wedding for any reason
  • An additional advanced payment of $1000.00 is required eight (8) weeks prior to the event. Confirmation of details and prices will be discussed no later than eight weeks before the event.
  • 100% of the total account balance is to be paid within 10 working days of the completion of the event..
  • Guarantee of the minimum number of guests is required (1) week prior to the function. This will constitute the minimum charge.
  • The minimum number of all wedding packages is 40 adults
  • In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled the Hotel reserves the right to any non-refundable deposits. These deposits are not transferable within Hotel outlets.
  • In the event of package prices and contents being updated less than six months prior to the confirmed date, the client will have the option to select both a new package and price, or stay with the original price and package as quoted.
  • As the Hotel regularly updates menus and wine lists according to seasonality and availability the Hotel at its sole discretion reserves the right to substitute items of food and beverage with a like product where necessary. Full consultation will  be made with the Client.
  • Whilst every measure is taken to maintain prices and menus all effort will be made by the Hotel to stick to the original quote. However if a price change is due to pressures beyond our control then the hotel may change these prices at their discretion. Full notice will be given on any changes made.
  • No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into or removed from the Hotel by the client or any of the Clients guests or invitees.
  • A service fee of $100.00 inclusive of GST may apply for Cash Bar arrangements where the final spend does not reach a minimum of $500.00
  • The Hotel does not accept responsibility for damage to, or loss of any property left in the hotel, prior to, during or after any function.
  • In the event of any damages, the client assumes responsibility for any and all damages caused by the client or any of the Clients guests or invitees or any other persons attending the function.
  • All due care will be taken by the Hotel for any gifts that are left in the Hotels charge until picked up by the Client or their representatives
  • All gifts should be picked up from the Hotel by 12pm of the following day of the Wedding.
  • Clients agree to begin and complete their function at the scheduled time outlined in their confirmation.
  • As per your instructions, only the person/s named are authorised to charge to the function account.
  • It is imperative that signatory names are advised prior to the commencement of the function.

Under the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 most of our Weddings are operated in an “Undesignated’ classification. However if your Wedding is deemed to be a “Supervised” designation then you will be advised.

Undesignated means the following

1)    Persons under the age of 18 can be at the Wedding without a Parent or Legal Guardian but are unable to purchase or consume alcohol.

2)    We will only serve alcohol to those people 18 years and over if when asked, can produce photo I.D.

3)    Persons under 18 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian may consume liquor on the premises although they cannot purchase it.  The parent or legal guardian only must purchase or order from the bar any liquor consumed by a minor in an undesignated area and continue to be present in the room or area of the function.

4)    It is illegal to serve anyone who is deemed to be intoxicated and they will be asked to leave the premises

5)    Those people already determined by our staff to be intoxicated on arrival will not be allowed on the premises

Supervised means the following

1)    Persons under the age of 18 can not be at the Wedding without a Parent or Legal Guardian.

2)    Persons under 18 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian may consume liquor on the premises although they cannot purchase it.  The parent or legal guardian only must purchase or order from the bar any liquor consumed by a minor in a supervised area.

3)    It is illegal for persons under the age of 18 to consume any alcohol without a Parent or Legal Guardian  present in the room or area of the function

4)    It is illegal to serve anyone who is deemed to be intoxicated and they will be asked to leave the premises

5)    Those people already determined by our staff to be intoxicated on arrival will not be allowed on the premises
